Crafty Individuals - giving this amazing craft package

For my project this week, I was sent a gorgeous Crafty Individuals stamp and some chipboard frames and as I already had some Crafty Individual tags in my stash. I decided to use one and create an altered tag. The frame, corner piece and swirl have been triple embossed and the Scrabble letters, coloured with alcohol inks. The swirl inside the frame has been coated with Glossy Accents. I stamped the image, swirls and words before distressing the tag and then sprayed the whole thing with Glimmer Mist.

Sweet Pea - Love is Gone

A happy Saturday to you all!!

Today I have been playing with a gorgeous Sweet Pea stamp by Ching Chou Kuik called "Love is Gone" that I got for my birthday (one of three!!).  I love these images and have been wanting to ink one up for ages and have finally found the time :0)

As there seem to be so many Autumn/Fall challenges out there at the moment, I thought I would use Autumnal colours for my card. I have distressed the edges of all the papers and glittered her wings and bangle to tie in with the lovely peachy coloured glittery DP I used for the half circle. Unfortunately, this does not show up too well in the photo :0(

This is a close-up of the gorgeous image. The white dotted background has been inspired by Coops (thanks Coops I love this effect).

And here is the inside.

Recipe:
Medium - Promarkers and white gel pen
Papers - various from my stash
Ribbon, flowers & charm - from my stash
Stamp - Crafts and Me

Thanks for looking and before I go, I would like to say a big hello and thank you to my new followers.

Morning All,
Our challenge over at Do You Stack Up this week is titled Duo which means we want to see your design elements in twos or pairs. How easy is that!!

Our sponsors this week are:
Stretch 'n Bubbles - Choice of 4 digi stamps

JLJ Designs - $10 Gift Certificate

The Stamping Boutique - Choice of 5 digital stamps

For my card I have used this great image from Stretch 'n Bubbles called "Tribute Flower". I dragged two of the flowers into my graphics programme, flipped one and made it slightly smaller and then merged them with the sentiment.

A bit of stitching, a ribbon, a bow and some pearls and the card was complete.

Recipe:
Medium - Promarkers
Paper - Freebie from a magazine - Pampered Pets
Ribbon, bow and pearls - from stash
Sentiment - Freebie from Scrapalicious

Pop on over to the DYSU Challenge blog and take a look at the rest of the DT's creations - the duos are very varied and will definitely inspire you to join in with us this week.

Before I go, I want to take a moment to say goodbye to two of the team members who are sadly leaving us. Frances and Tenny - you will both be missed and I wish you both success and happiness xx  There is a small DT call going on over at DYSU - if you are interested, you will need to be quick as it closes on 24th September.

This week, I got to play with another of the gorgeous fairy images which you can find here in the shop. I have used lots of lovely Autumnal colours and some fab glittery backing paper which DOES NOT show up in this lousy picture :0(  The seam binding has been coloured with a Promarker, to match. The flowers, branches and edge of the image have all been distressed with an inkpad.

This week I got to use this lovely little image called "Bella da Snowlady" from Robyns Fetish which was a real joy to colour and which, by the way, is my very first Christmas card for this year - a bit late I know but hey better late than never!!! The trees and image have been attached with foam pads to give some dimension (and what looks like a black strip across the card is actually Mirror Card!!!)  Sorry about the lousy pictures - I seem to be having real problems getting decent ones at the moment. Think I may need to invest in a light box.

Here's the close-up

This gorgeous Perfume Bottle image can be found here in the shop and comes with two others as well :0) I just adore this image -  so classy and you can just imagine it containing a very expensive French perfume.

DYSU #36 - Texture

Hello All,
So it's Thursday again and time for another fun challenge over at Do You Stack Up?.  This week's theme is Texture - this can be textured card, fabric, metal, embossing - in fact any kind of texture you can find.

Our sponsors this week are:

Digi Doodle Shop - $10 Gift Certificate

Pizzazz Aplenty - $10 Prize Package

Love to Stamp
Love To Stamp - Winner's choice of one "Little Darlings" rubber stamp

My card this week uses this cute image from the Digi Doodle Shop called "Bird Watching" and let me tell you, it has texture aplenty. I have used a stone paint for the bird bath, yellow velvet paper for the birdie, Flowersoft for the grass and flowers and glossy accents on the water, beak and his eye.

The only bit I am not too sure about is the Flowersoft - I think it looks a bit tatty, although I must admit it looks better in the flesh!

And this is the inside with a removable tag for a message. The greeting reads "Best Fishes"

Recipe:
Medium - Promarkers, Derwent pencils and Sansodor, Eberhard Faber Granite paint, Faded Jeans DI
Paper - Pink Petticoat
Cardstock and velvet paper - stash
Greetings - Pink Petticoat freebie stamp

I would love for you to hop on over to DYSU and take a look at the rest of the DT girlies' fantastic cards and hopefully you will be inspired to join in.

Thanks for looking
Hugs
Denise xx
