Do You Believe in Fairies?

I do.......especially when you have such a sweet, sweet image as this Pom Pom Fairy from Lili of the Valley.

As I have managed to get ahead with my DT cards, I have finally found time to make some cards with stamps and digi images I bought ages ago!!!

This one was such fun to make. I love LOTV fairies and this one is so cute. I have coloured her with Promarkers and pencils and stickled her wings, pom-poms and skirt. The gorgeous papers are from Prima - Jack and Jill Collection (love these) and I have edged them very lightly with Broken China Distress Ink.

The butterflies are cut with a MS punch and the pearls were white but I coloured them with a Promarker to match. The sentiment is another freebie from Create With TLC , printed on the computer. To complete, I added ribbon from my stash and of course I decorated the inside.

Once again, thanks for looking and for all the lovely comments you so kindly leave.

Trust Me - I'm an Engineer - Teddy Bo

Morning folks,
I'm back again, this time with a card I have made using the lovely Teddy Bo. Over at the Teddy Bo Challenge they want a creation using only Mr Bo himself so this is what I made.................

I love all of the Teddy Bo images but decided on this one called Trust Me - I'm an Engineer because I just loved the look on his face and have seen many a man looking like that after (trying to) fix their cars - LOL!!

I have coloured him using my Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor and must say, am very pleased with the results!! The papers are again some digis that have been lurking on my computer for ages and I have edged them all with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

The tag has been handmade and the sentiment generated on the computer.  The cord is some I had lying around since my owning a wool shop days (donkeys years ago) and is in fact a petrol blue faux suede.  The brads are from my stash.

And that's it.  Hope you like and thanks for looking.

DDSB Challenge #60 - Anything Goes

My second card today is for the Digi Doodle Shop's Best  - Anything Goes challenge. Nice and easy!!

This cute little fella is called Louis with Daisies and can be found in the Digi Doodle Shop here. I have coloured him with Promarkers and Coloursoft pencils and then added some Glossy Accents to his eyes, claws and horns - this unfortunately does not show up in the photo.

The papers are some digi freebies I had on my computer and the ribbon and white felt brads are from my stash. The tag was cut on the Cricut and the sentiment I produced on the computer.

And of course, I have decorated the inside too!!

The rest of the DT have made some beautiful cards which we hope will inspire you to join in the challenge, so please pop over to the blog and take a look-see. I can't wait to see what you come up with and remember, you don't have to use a Digi Doodle Shop image but, if you do, you will get 2 entries into the challenge and double your chance of winning!!!  How good is that :0).

That's all for now.

DDSB Challenge #59 - Embossing

Back again!!!  This time with my card for the Digi Doodle Shops Best Challenge. This week we want to see some embossing on your cards but before I tell you about my card for this week, I must apologise for the awful photos - I was running out of daylight and could not get a decent picture at all.

I have chosen to use dry embossing along with this fun image called "Special Delivery" which you can find here in the shop. I have coloured it with Promarkers, glittered the cake and candle and used a pink Coloursoft pencil for the aura. The papers are a freebie download - not sure where from I'm afraid and I have used two different embossing folders on the design. The Happy Birthday one is a Cuttlebug design but again, I am not sure what make the Cupcake one is as I borrowed it from my daughter.

I love this image - I think he is such a jolly looking chef and I love his large belly - :0) And he was so easy to colour!

The sentiment is a favourite freebie from Create with TLC and the heart brads and the "made with love" heart charm are from my stash. I have finished off by adding some Stickles to the edge of the design and on the embossed cupcakes.

Why not take a look at the shop - there are some fab images available and a great sale going on at the moment - then join in with us for this challenge. You don't have to use a Digi Doodle Shop image but those of you who do, get two entries into the challenge. Oh, and don't forget to have a look at the rest of the DT's creations for some fab inspiraton.

Can't wait to see what you create.

For my card this week I am using this delightful little guy called "Monster Boy" from Squiggle Stamps and you can find him here.  He has been coloured using Promarkers and the papers are from Nitwits (what else!!) DDSB Challenge #58 - Pink and Blue

Hello again.  My second post today is for Digi Doodle Shops Best Challenge #58 - Pink and Blue but before I tell you about my card, I would like to thank all those of you who entered last week's challenge and congratulate the winners - well done ladies!!

For this week's challenge I have used this gorgeous Hydrangea image which you can find in the shop here.  I have coloured it with Promarkers and mounted it onto light blue card and an oddment of pink patterned paper I found in Louise's odds and ends box. I think it could possibly be from Bo Bunny but don't quote me on that!!!  The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is from Craftwotk Cards.

And this is the inside.

Do pop over to DDSB Challenge Blog and look at the creations from the rest of the DT - they are all so very pretty and will hopefully inspire you to join in the challenge.

Once again, thank you to all of you lovely people who take the time to look at my creations and leave a comment. They are always very much appreciated, as is your visit.
