DYSU #49 - Something Old

Oh my, Thursday again!! Where are the weeks going????  Our theme this week over at Do You Stack Up? is "SOMETHING OLD".  This can be something truly old or just a vintage style or image.

We have two great sponsors this week  -

Saturated Canary - Winner's choice of 2 digis

Gecko GalzPrize package containing a pack of paper of the winners choice, 4 collage sets of the winners choice, a stamp set of the winners choice, and vintage pearl button pack, vintage lace, and Gecko Galz fibers

I got to use this fantastic image from Saturated Canary (love, love, love Krtista's images) called "Sprocket the Steampunk Aviator" and decided to make a steampunk./grunge style card. This is my second attempt at this card - the first one was completely made and idiot that I am, I knocked a bottle of ink all over it - arrrrrgh. I could have cried. So now I am not that happy with this second attempt but just did not have time to make another one :0(

  Close up of the image.

Inside of the card.

Recipe:
Medium - Promarkers and Tea Dye Distress Ink
Papers - digis from my computer (no names I'm afraid)
Brass key and heart - Hobbycraft
Die cut clock - Tim Holtz Alterations
Velvet ribbon, brads and washers - stash
Flowers - handmade coated with a crackle medium
Cog and Chain Frame image on inside - Delicious Doodles

As usual, the rest of the DT have created some amazing and varied projects for your inspiration, so please pop over to the DYSU Challenge blog and take a peak. We all hope you will join us for this challenge and look forward to seeing what you create.

Happy Crafting to you all.
Hugs
Denise xx

I am entering this card into the following challenges
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Digi Makeover #14 - Cut It Out
Simon Says Stamp & Show - Elements of Time

Oh! how awful to spoil your original card, know how you feel about the second, I've done similar to you.
You have NOTHING to fear though, this is fabulous, I LOVE what you have done and again the colouring is fab.
