A Very Sad Day

No card to show at the moment as I have not really felt like making one today. Some of you may remember back in January, I posted about Louise climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care as her best friend Jazz had just undergone major surgery to remove cervical cancer. Well, what I did not tell you was that the cancer returned and sadly, Jazz lost that fight today at 13.30pm. She was only 33 years old and had gone through so much in her battle with this awful disease. She will be greatly missed

Louise will be trekking across Jordan in October to raise further funds for Macmillan as they did such a great job caring for Jazz during her illness and in her last few weeks. Many of you may not be aware that Macmillan rely on voluntary donations for 99% of their income - hence Louise's further trip.

The reason for this post is not to ask for anything from you except to wish Louise good luck on her next fund raising mission and also for me to tell all of you just how extremely proud I am of her. Louise - YOU ROCK!!

Happy Times

Thanks for taking the time to read this
Denise xx

Oh Denise - I just popped over to thank you for leaving a comment (and so quickly, and so late at night), and I am saddened to read your moving Post about Louise's friend.

You must be very proud of your Daughter, and yes she does "Rock", and I wish her all the success in the world with her next charity walk.
Love and hugs to you both - Sylvia xxx
