DDSC #67 - Make Your Own Flowers

Back again, this time with my DT card for Digi Doodle Shop Challenges. This week we want you to make your own flowers and as there are so many fab tutorials out there in blogland, this should be easy!!

When I first joined the DDSC team, I saw this lovely image called "Birdie Birdie" and was determined that I would use it for one of the challenges. When the make your own flowers challenge came I up, I knew that time had arrived, as I had some crocheted flowers lying around that I had made ages ago and never used, which would look perfect with the image.

Close-up pics

and of course the inside

So come on ladies, get out those crochet hooks, punches, ribbons, lace - what ever and join us for this week's challenge. The rest of the DT have created some lovely handmade flowers to inspire you so do please take a look.

Paper - Prima Marketing Sparkling Spring Collection 6x6 stack
Colouring medium - Derwent pencils and blending solution
Flowers - handmade by me!!

Bye, bye for now and thanks for looking

Beautiful card Denise. I love your flowers. I haven't made any of the crocheted flowers, but I'd love to try them. Your birds are beautiful, I love the colors. Is the background paper made that way, or is it stamped? hugs, dj

It is a gorgeous image and I love the crochet flowers. My step-mother was always crocheting when I was young. Wish I had taken the trouble to learn it myself, because your flowers are super dreamy.
