Less is More - Off the Edge

Today I am showing a card for the Less is More Challenge - Off the Edge and One Layer.  If I am totally honest, this is completely out of my comfort zone - all that white is screaming "fill me"!!!!  I have seen lots of gorgeous CAS cards and I really admire them, which is why I thought I would give it a go.

The image is actually a digi which I found on the Create with TLC blog where Paulette has loads of lovely freebies.  I love these two little girls. I printed it directly onto the card and coloured it with Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor. I would like to have watercoloured it but the card I have used would not take this. The sentiment was printed at the same time.

I would be grateful for any comments - good or otherwise - as this is my first attempt at this style of card and I am still not sure about it.

Hugs
Denise xx

I am also entering this card into:

Paper Sundaes # 60 - keep it simple
One Stop Crafts # 122 - clean and simple

Be unsure no longer... this is fabulous! The girls are looking straight at the sentiment... just perfect.
The amount of white space is also wonderful... don't try to fill it...a super, super card!
There will be a lot of admiration of this one I'm sure!
Thanks for joining us and we'll look forward to seeing you next time!

Popped over from Paulette's. I understand the white screaming more, but your card is perfect. I think my cards need more but the cards of others look wonderful with white space.

Wow for a first CAS card this is excellent...resist the temptation to add more embellies. Trust me the more you look at it the more the concept will grow on you.x

I think it's brilliant. I saw it in the Linky section at Paper Sundaes and had to get a better look at it. Those little card thumbnails rarely catch my eye but yours did. You rocked the CAS style with this!

This is fabulous Denise, what a wonderful image and it looks just perfect 'off the page' and the sentiment finishes it perfectly - doesn't look like you need much practice to me, or perhaps this was an easy one for us novices at CAS!!
